I first learned of Homeward Mortgage’s relationship with Yusuf Olatunji Fatai sometime in the winter of 2022. At the time, Yusuf had given the court the impression that he was sleeping on the couch of Franklin Ezeh, aka “Frank,” in Norcross, Georgia.
That wasn’t true.
In reality, Yusuf had entered into a contract with Homeward Mortgage and deceived them into buying him a house. From 2021 until the spring or summer of 2022, Yusuf lived at The Brunswick Condominiums in Norcross. His monthly rent payments were clearly reflected in his business bank statements, proving he resided there. Despite this, Homeward Mortgage ended up purchasing him a brand-new home—just three miles from the house where my children and I have lived for years.
During this time, Yusuf gave Homeward Mortgage the impression that our marital home—the same one involved in our ongoing divorce proceedings—was either rented out to tenants or too dangerous for him to live in. That’s the only logical conclusion I could draw after hearing him repeatedly claim I had “so many adults” living in the house, or that these imaginary people had somehow assaulted or threatened him. The number of wild stories coming from Yusuf is laughable at this point—I honestly can’t keep up.
Over the course of more than two years, Yusuf continued this charade. He led Homeward Mortgage to believe that the marital home would eventually be sold. All the while, he lived rent-free in the house Homeward bought for him. I learned the truth during legal proceedings. According to transcripts, in his own words, Yusuf confirmed that he had been given the option to purchase that home—which he did around September 2023. He secured an FHA mortgage through Navy Federal Credit Union sometime between June and August of that year. I would later find out that he also took out a HELOC loan for the same amount against that house.
Essentially, this means the property has no remaining value—just like the marital home. As he has done with every other property he’s touched, Yusuf took out as many loans as possible, with absolutely no intention of paying them back. He used lies and manipulation to exploit a mortgage company and create a fraudulent version of his life—all while I was left to carry the emotional and financial burdens he left behind.
Having known exactly the kind of con artist Yusuf is, I wasn’t surprised. I had already figured out his game long ago. The only way he could maintain his image and lifestyle was by fabricating lies about me—using unethical, unscrupulous attorneys who are so deep in corruption that they’ve become desperate to help him take custody of my children.
Because let’s be honest: without the children, Yusuf wouldn’t have a property to his name. He wouldn’t be burdened with child support. His entire scheme would collapse.
It’s almost comical how predictable this has become. On May 7, 2024—just one day before Homeward Mortgage filed a lawsuit against Yusuf—I received an email from him containing a Georgia Lease Agreement. And just like clockwork, the unethical, corrupt attorneys involved began launching the most outrageous accusations against me.
These attorneys weren’t motivated by justice. They were motivated by greed. Worried they wouldn’t get paid, they did what they always do—make up lies. Let’s be clear: Yusuf is no celebrity. Everything about him is fake and fabricated. He robs Peter to pay Paul, every single day.
I’m just one person. So ask yourself—why are these people so obsessed with me and my life? When they couldn’t find anything real to use against me, they started making things up to fit their pathetic, manufactured narrative. And when they didn’t get the emotional reaction they hoped for, their guilty consciences must have started eating away at them. That’s the only explanation for the kind of bizarre, fantasy-like accusations they’ve made.
This is the filing that contains the documents that were subpoenaed from Homeward Mortgage. I have redacted the portion containing sensitive identifying information.
This is the transcript for the hearing regarding this matter concerning Homeward Mortgage.
