Let’s be clear: I was held in civil contempt over a house I wasn’t even in during the time Yusuf and his realtor Holly Norman visited. Judge Regina Matthews knew I wasn’t home. For many year I have always had doorbell, outdoor, and indoor cameras. I had even provided the court camera footage to support I wasn’t home . But none of that mattered.
This wasn’t about justice. This was about control.
In a case already filled with bias and retaliation, the court twisted reality to fit a narrative—and used its power to punish me, a mother fighting for her children, for simply not being present at a property. Not hiding. Not defying anyone. Just not home.
At what point does family court stop being about children and start being about egos and vendettas?
This is exactly why we need transparency in our legal system. If these hearings were televised, if people could see what actually happens behind closed courtroom doors, the public would be outraged.
The truth is simple: I didn’t violate anything. But I’m being punished anyway.
